Brookwood's Lewis an All-American

Columbus State outfielder Ryan Lewis has been selected to the Daktronics All-America second team after an impressive final college season.

The Brookwood grad, who bounced back from a season-ending injury in 2012, was the leadoff batter for one of the nation's top offensive teams. He had a .387 batting average with 84 hits, the sixth most in the country, and led the team with a .457 on-base percentage.

Lewis scored 73 runs, the second most all-time in a single season by a Cougar. He added 10 doubles and was 25-for-33 in stolen base attempts.
