PEACHTREE CORNERS -- Bowling is going to become a little classier in Peachtree Corners because Brunswick's on Spalding Drive is getting a facelift.
From June 17 until the middle of July, the facility will be closed to the public for renovations, complete with an entertainment center and restaurant called Tavern '45.
"We're thrilled to introduce the new Brunswick's concept to the Atlanta area," said Brunswick Bowling Retail President Jim Fox. "We designed a place where guests will want to socialize and connect with family and friends through group activities while enjoying great food, craft beer and exceptional service."
The venue's interior will be remodeled with upgraded bowling equipment, mood lighting, outdoor patio and a lofted bar area situated in the middle of the lanes.
Tavern '45 plans to serve American pub fare with flare, like macaroni and cheese with a potato chip crust, grilled wild salmon with herb butter and mango salsa, and Thai red curry chicken hand-stretched pizza. The eatery has a full-service bar that specializes in local craft beer, including Sweetwater, Terrapin, Monday Night, Red Brick, Mother Earth and Lazy Magnolia.
Brunswick's is located at 6345 Spalding Drive in Peachtree Corners. It will be open Sundays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to midnight and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
