For the first time in school history, Cornerstone Christian Academy claimed the North Atlanta Metro League overall Champions Cup for most successful athletic program.
The Peachtree Corners private school claimed seven championships (boys cross country, girls cross country, flag football, seventh-grade girls basketball, boys golf, boys track, ultimate Frisbee) as well as eight runner-up finishes (eighth-grade girls volleyball, eighth-grade boys basketball, sevebth-grade boys basketball, baseball, boys tennis, girls tennis, soccer, girls track). Cornerstone tallied 118 points for its playoff finishes for a comfortable victory over runner-up Bridgeway Christian, which had 68.
The athletic program is spearheaded by athletic director Chuck Faust.
