Three Central football players sign

Three seniors form Central Gwinnett's football signed scholarships on Tuesday at the Lawrenceville school.

Quarterback Eman Westmoreland and running back Jourdin Shiloh signed with Paine College in Augusta and linebacker Israel Washington signed with Kentucky Wesleyan.

Westmoreland was a three-year starter at Central, setting county records in passing yards (7,795) and touchdowns (74) during his career. He led the Black Knights to a 6-4 record, their first winning season since 2006. Shiloh led Central in rushing with 510 yards and four touchdowns despite missing the first part of the season with an injury. The 6-foot, 200-pound Washington made 43 tackles and three sacks last season.
