Eck breaks Wofford saves record

Buford grad Eric Eck, a junior pitcher at Wofford, broke the school's single-season saves record with his 10th in the Terriers' baseball win over the College of Charleston last Friday.

Eck, who also holds the school's career saves mark, has a 0.59 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 30 innings this season. The right-hander had seven saves and a 4-3 record as a sophomore, striking out 60 batters in 44 innings.
