Aimee Copeland to appear at FODAC event

STONE MOUNTAIN -- Friends of Disabled Adults and Children is hosting the Run, Walk 'n' Roll race Saturday at Stone Mountain Park. This year's special guest is Snellville's Aimee Copeland, who lost her hands, left leg and right foot after surviving a rare flesh-eating disease.

Participants can walk or roll through the course with wheelchairs, strollers and walkers.

In addition to the race, there will be clowns, face painting, caricatures, food, vendor freebies, raffle prizes and music.
