CARY, N.C. -- Korey Anderson pitched a dominant one-hit shutout to lead Grayson to a 1-0 win over Eustis (Fla.) on Saturday.
Austin Meadows had three hits and drove in the game's lone run for the Rams (9-7) in the National High School Invitational.
George Walton 5, Providence 3
LILBURN -- Erich Stahl took a tough loss for Providence, allowing just one earned run and striking out six in seven innings as the Storm fell 5-3 to George Walton.
Providence (6-9, 6-2) led 3-2 before allowing three runs in the bottom of the seventh. Matt James, Jackson Winskie and Justin Brew strung together three hits in the second inning, leading to the three Storm runs. They all scored and Brew ended the game with two RBIs.
Archer 7, Dacula 2
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Curtis Terry went 3-for-4, including a home run and starting pitcher Sean Fitzpatrick knocked in a pair of runs as Archer beat Dacula 7-2 on Friday.
On the mound, Fitzpatrick allowed five hits and struck out four to pick up the complete-game win. Bryan Whiting was 2-for-4 at the plate and Brett Self was 2-for-3 for the Tigers (6-9, 3-3 Region 8-AAAAAA).
