LOGANVILLE -- Grayson pushed one run across in the bottom of the seventh to come away with a 7-6 win over Archer on Friday night in Region 8-AAAAAA.
Jack Banda hat a two-run single for the Rams (6-5, 3-2), while Oscar Valdez, Chris Erwin, Taylor Allum and Bryn Parten each added a hit, with Valdez scoring two runs.
Korey Anderson picked up the win in relief of Jon Briley, who struck out eight in 3 innings.
Sean Fitzpatrick led Archer (4-8, 1-2) with a double and two RBIs, while Curtis Terry added a solo home run.
Parkview 6, Dacula 1
LILBURN -- Parkview stayed unbeaten in Region 8-AAAAAA on Friday night with a 6-1 win at home against Dacula.
Mac Marshall (2-1) picked up the win on the mound, going 4 innings with one run on two hits, three walks with seven strikeouts. Sam McCoy followed with 2 scoreless innings with one hit in recording the save.
Hunter Thornton went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs to lead the Panthers (7-2, 4-0) on offense, helped by Ryan Blanton, who had two doubles and an RBI.
Other contributors for Parkview were Jarrett Hood (3-for-4, RBI), Zach Langley (RBI triple) and McCoy (2-for-3).

NORCROSS -- Norcross improved to 8-2 on the season with a 10-7 win over Lanier on Friday night in a non-region game.
Griffin Helms led the offense for Norcross, going 3-for-4 with a stolen base and two runs, while Zach Shirah reached base four times with a hit, two walks and a hit batsman in helping him steal one base and score two runs.
Jascanel Ferreras also went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run, while Joseph Wilber went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, a run and a stolen base. DULUTH -- Duluth and North needed penalty kicks to decide Friday's Region 7-AAAAAA match with the Wildcats taking a 2-1 win by outscoring North 5-4 during the shootout.
Duluth took a 1-0 lead in the second half off a goal from Carlos Delarosa, but North (4-3-2, 2-1) battled back to tie it at 1-1 with 15 minutes left in regulation when Josh Hoeft scored off an assist from Kian Pourak.
Ben Kucera came up big at keeper for the Wildcats (6-0, 2-0) during the penalty kicks with a save.

LILBURN -- Berkmar scored a Region 8-AAAAAA win on the road over its cross-town rival Parkview 2-1 on Friday night, edging the Panthers (4-6) with a 6-5 advantage on penalty kicks.
