Maryann Hafner, age 59, of Braselton, GA passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Mary Bertele; and brother, Joseph Bertele. She is survived by her husband of forty years, Donald J. Hafner, Braselton, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Donald Bennett, Medina, OH and Carole and Richard Blake, Akron, OH; brother, James Bertele, Akron, OH; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Barbara Hafner, Copley, OH, John and Debbie Hafner, Akron, OH; Edward Hafner, Clayton, GA, James and Wendy Hafner, Akron, OH and David Hafner, Buford, GA; sisters-in-law, Sister Theresa Hafner, C.S.J., Cleveland, OH and Jo Hafner, Cuyahoga Falls, OH; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Hafner was born June 23, 1953 in Akron, OH. She was a 1971 graduate of St. Vincent High School in Akron, OH and a 1981 graduate of the University of Akron, OH where she received her Bachelors Degree in Accounting. She retired from QAD, Inc. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA. Her smile was a gift from God that she gave to everyone she met. Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Eric Hill serving as Celebrant. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the Memorial Mass.
