Highlights: Went 3-for-4 with four RBIs in a victory over Providence
Coach Josh Carter's take: "This Monday, he had a season-ending injury. He broke his left (pitching) thumb so that was a huge blow to us. He's at the top of our pitching rotation. Before that, he had a breakout game against Providence. He was starting to throw the ball a lot better off the hill for us as well. The last two or three games he played really well. He started to hit the ball better, throw the ball better and give some leadership to these young guys. Even this week with him not playing, he's been showing up and rooting the guys on."
