NORCROSS -- A man contacted Norcross Police last week after he said he received "weird phone calls" that he later learned stemmed from a suggestive Craigslist ad.
The ad, which has been taken down, listed the victim's work cell phone number to contact for oral sex. The victim said he was "almost certain" that an employee who was recently fired is behind the fake ad. Despite having the ad removed, the victim, 31, said he still received calls to the phone number listed in the ad.
"(The victim) stated the employee was fired and left very disgruntled just a few weeks back," according to a March 13 incident report.
Norcross Police Sgt. Bill Grogan said he couldn't offer any more details about the investigation or a potential suspect.
"I can't release much information to you at this time without negatively impacting the investigation," Grogan said.
