LAWRENCEVILLE -- Cornerstone Baptist Church is scheduled host a stroke and osteoporosis screening next month.
It will be put on by Life Line Screening, and will be at 1400 Grayson Highway in Lawrenceville on April 29. The event is designed to reduce the risk of having a stroke or bone fracture.
Screenings identify potential cardiovascular conditions such as blocked arteries, an irregular heart rhythm, abdominal aortic aneurysms and hardening of the arteries in the legs. The screening also includes a bone density test that's appropriate for men and women.
Packages start at $159, and all five screenings take between an hour and an hour and a half. For more information, or to schedule an appointment, call 1-877-237-1287 or visit www.lifelinescreening.com. Pre-registration is required.
