Keith Wayne Garner, age 55, of Lilburn, GA passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013. Born in Buford, GA, he worked as a Warehouse Manager for Plaid Enterprises for 25 years.
The world lost Keith on Friday, and his loss is gargantuan; just too big to process. His unexepcted passing leaves behind a trail of tears. But he wouldnt want us to take that tack. He was a realist - strong in thought and body, steadfast in his relationships and hardworking in everything that he did. He was funny, always good for a one-liner. But most of all, he was a family man. You could always count on him to feed the cats, play with the dog, and offer his family the care and support they needed. Their well-being would always be his first consideration.
His belief in God, was strong and unfaultering, and by putting God first and seeking out his wisdom that he would lead us though any hardships that we may encounter.
He leaves behind his beloved wife and soul mate of 22 years, Joan Hammett Garner; devoted daughters Amber and Autumn, both of Lilburn; his beautiful granddaughter, Lila Grace; loving mother, Clara Garner of Norcross; brother and sister-in-law, Jackie and Mona Garner of Ellijay; sister, Joy Garner-James of Duluth; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, with Elder Frank Grantham officiating.
The family will recieve friends Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 PM and Monday from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Bill Head Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, (770) 564-2726.
