Johnny and Becky Melts of Suwanee announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristina Rebekah Melts of Suwanee, to Sean Higgins Hesson of Sugar Hill, son of Raymond and Pamela Cook of Sugar Hill.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Alex and Marijennie Warlick of Jacksonville, N.C., and the late Victor and Ethel Melts. She is a 2006 graduate of North Gwinnett High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in family and consumer sciences education and is pursuing a master's degree in workforce education. She is employed with Mountain View High School as a teacher and softball coach.
The future groom is the grandson of Raymond and Naomi Cook of Pensacola, Fla., and the late Edward and Ruth Higgins. He is a 2005 graduate of North Gwinnett High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Georgia, where he received a bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science. He is employed with Power Source as a sales representative.
The wedding is planned for May 11 at White Oaks Barn in Dahlonega.
