Three Gwinnett area junior golfers -- Lawrenceville's Jacob Bayer and Suwanee's Lauren Lightfritz and Kayley Marschke -- won age-group titles at last weekend's Junior Masters at Bear's Best Golf Club in Suwanee.
Bayer shot 77-67 to win the boys 12- and 13-year-old division, Marschke shot 77-75 to win girls 13-14 and Lightfritz shot 74-70 to win girls 15-18.
Other top finishers from the area were Norcross' Josh Crawford (fourth, 72-74), Duluth's Cullen Madden (17th, 88-82) and Suwanee's Kevin Duffy (20th, 96-88) in boys 16-18, Suwanee's Jenny Li (third, 79-76) and Alexandra Hudson (seventh, 88-88) in girls 15-18, Suwanee's Allison Crenshaw (fourth, 91-88) in girls 13-14 and Suwanee's Preston Topper (eighth, 73-78) and Norcross' Jackson Simpson (15th, 85-80) in boys 12-13.
