SUWANEE -- This year, Suwanee Day held on Sept. 21 celebrates 30 years. To get the party started, organizers are accepting applications for exhibitors and entertainment.
"It's the best-run show that I do," former exhibitor Paula Chambers said. "The volunteers and staff go out of their way to accommodate any and all requests."
Close to 200 vendors displayed and sold handmade arts and crafts items last year to more than 50,000 attendees in Suwanee's Town Center Park.
The festival offers all-day shopping, festival food, activities, rides and entertainment. Each year at Suwanee Day, up-and-coming performers as well as established acts take to the main festival and children's stages, offering a variety of free performances.
Entertainment entries need to be in by May 15 and exhibitor applications are due by June 1. Both are available at www.suwaneeday.com. Exhibitors are selected through a jury process.
