Mill Creek will host one of the state's biggest track meets in the early part of the season on Saturday.
The Jerry Arnold Georgia Challenge will feature 37 teams, including several coming off state champion seasons.
Defending boys state champions Brookwood and Carrollton will be on hand as two of the top teams, along with state placer Mill Creek.
The girls meet has defending state champions Redan and Greater Atlanta Christian in participation, along with state placer Alpharetta.
Of the 37 teams, 11 are from Gwinnett County. They include Archer, Brookwood, Buford, Collins Hill, Dacula, GAC, Mill Creek, Mountain View, Norcross, North Gwinnett, Peachtree Ridge.
