The Atlanta Fire United Soccer Association recently announced five new additions to its coaching staff, including longtime Duluth boys soccer coach Gregg Tavani as the club's new Academy Director.
Duluth girls coach Vince Hayes will work closely with Tavani and as an AFU girls coach. AFU also announced the hires of Georgia Gwinnett College women's coach Domenic Martelli, Fellowship of Christian Athletes Soccer Ministries director Jorge Vallejo and former Atlanta Silverbacks head coach Jose Manuel Abundis Sandoval, who played 49 games in his career for Mexico's national team.
