DULUTH -- A new dialysis facility in Duluth will have a ribbon cutting and free open house at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Fresenius Medical Care North America, a nationwide network of dialysis facilities, will open Fresenius Medical Care Berkeley Lake during a ceremony where nurses and staff will discuss patient services and the latest dialysis treatments. Light refreshments will be served at the free event, which will have a ribbon cutting with the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce.
Some of those treatment options include a regional home dialysis program, which offers greater independence, convenience and health benefits. Treatment Options Programs also educate at-risk patients and their families about chronic kidney disease, and how to choose treatments for kidney failure that best suits health and lifestyle needs.The facility address is 3870 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. N.W.
