Anne Clark, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Carl Clark, and son, Scott Clark of Rochester, MN. She is survived by son, Peter Clark, of Lawrenceville; daughter & son-in-law, Cindi & Bill Nash of Lawrenceville; son & daughter-in-law, Jeff & Sandy Clark of Titusville, N.J; daughter & son-in-law, Kelley & Warren Bowman of Owensboro KY; daughter-in, Martha Clark of Rochester, MN; grandchildren, Melissa Nash Hunt and husband, Jake of Prague, Czech Republic, Andrew Nash and wife, Melissa, of Covington, GA, Annie Clark of Titusville, NJ, Bryan Clark of Baltimore, MD, Alex, Margaret, Morgan, & Avery Bowman of Owensboro, KY, Matthew and Elizabeth Clark of Rochester, MN; great-grandchildren, Sydney, Annina, Austin, Sam, Foard, and Eliza. Anne was born in Marquette, Michigan and lived much of her life in and near Traverse City, Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Journalism. During her life she was an avid tennis & bridge player. After the death of her husband in 2008, Anne moved to Lawrenceville, where she joined Lawrenceville First United Methodist Church and was warmly embraced by the Wesley Sunday School Class. She became active playing bridge at the Bethesda Park Senior Center and was a fan of the Gwinnett Masters Special Olympics softball and bowling. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 4:00pm at Lawrenceville First United Methodist Church. The family will receive visitors in the parlor at the church from 3:30 pm until 4:00 pm.
