LAWRENCEVILLE -- A fast-moving storm swept through southern Gwinnett on Friday evening, which kept firefighters busy with several incidents.
Gwinnett Fire Capt. Tommy Rutledge said there were two trees down and seven wires down. Rutledge said there was no major damage nor injuries reported due to the incidents.
One tree was down in the 3000 block of Ansley Forest Court in Snellville where a caller reported it was leaned against a house. A tree was also on a house in Stone Mountain, in the 5500 block of Bowers Road.
Rutledge said there were live wires down across both sides of the road on Ga. Highway 316 East at Drowning Creek Road in Dacula.
The other down wire incidents were at the following addresses:
-- 5500 block of Crestland Court in Stone Mountain-- 1800 block of Pucketts Drive in Lilburn-- 3200 block of Lamplighter Terrace in Snellville-- 4100 block of Wellington Hills Lane in Snellville-- 4200 block of River Club Drive in Lilburn-- 1900 block of Englewood Way in Snellville.
