LAWRENCEVILLE Wayne King Lieutenant Colonel Wayne Douglas King USAF retired, age 72, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013. He is survived by his wife Debora West King, daughters and sons in law, Karen and Michael Bell of Crestview, FL; Tonya and James Barkley of Sumter, SC; Tara and Larry Stamberger of Marietta, GA, son and daughter in law, Tommy and Angula Malone of Cypress, TX. Sons, Brian King of Athens, GA; Todd Malone of Lawrenceville, GA, 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife Patricia Watson King and his parents Samuel Ollie King and Vesta Mauldin King. Wayne, born in Buford, GA was in the first graduating class of Central Gwinnett High School. He received his Bachelors degree from Shorter College and received his Masters from Troy State University. He worked as a Counselor for the States of Georgia and Florida. . The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 29, 2013 beginning at 2:00 pm with a Funeral Service to Honor the Life of Wayne King at 4:00 pm at Holy Cross Anglican Church, Loganville, GA. The Rev. Canon Phil Ashley will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 233, mail to Holy Cross Anglican Church, P.O. Box 776, Loganville, GA 30052. Wayne will be taken to Emerald Coast Funeral Home in Fort Walton Beach, FL for a Graveside Service with Military Honors at 11:00 am on Monday, July 1, 2013 at Beal Memorial Cemetery. Rev.
