Murder of Snellville man to be featured on TV

SNELLVILLE -- The case of a Snellville man gunned down by a Valentine's Day hitman, a crime orchestrated by his wife, will make a television appearance tonight.

Richard Schoeck, 45, was shot and killed on Valentine's Day 2010 during what was supposed to be a loving rendezvous with wife Stacey at a park in Lula. Stacey Schoeck initially called 911 after "finding" her husband's body near his truck -- but she and hitman Reginald Coleman have both pleaded guilty to murder and have been sentenced to life without parole since.

An affair and half-million dollar life insurance policy are believed to have been at play.

The case will be featured at 10 p.m. today on the Investigation Discovery channel, as part of the season premiere of "On the Case with Paula Zahn."
