ATLANTA -- Peachtree Ridge grad Seth Reeves was one of three members of the Georgia Tech golf team to be named to the Golf Coaches Association of America's All-American team Thursday.
Reeves, who just completed his junior season, was named as an honorable mention, joining Yellow Jacket teammates Anders Albertson and Ollie Schniederjans, sophomores who both were third-team selections.
Among Reeves' accomplishments this season were finishing second at the PING/Golfweek Preview Invitational last fall and tying for 13th at the NCAA Championship last month, where the Jackets advanced to the semifinals, along with two other top-20 performances.
The selection of Reeves, who won the Southeastern Amateur Championship for the second time in three years last weekend, Albertson and Schniederjans marks the fourth straight year Tech has had two or more golfers selected for the GCAA All-American teams, and the 14th time since 1998.
