NORCROSS -- A tree fell on a Norcross home Monday afternoon, causing severe damage.

Gwinnett County fire department spokesman Lt. Colin Rhoden said crews were responded to the 1500 block of Kings Ridge Drive at about 2:25 p.m. Monday, finding a "house that was severely damaged by the tree on arrival." Electrical and gas utilities were secured by first responders, and a pair of residents that weren't home at the time of the incident will be displaced, Rhoden said.

No injuries were reported.

"The residents were advised not to enter the structurally compromised structure that was taped off," Rhoden said.

No further details were available.
