LAWRENCEVILLE -- The Aurora Theatre has announced its new corporate sponsors for its 2013-2014 mainstage season: BrandBank and BrandMortgage.
"BrandBank and BrandMortgage are proud supporters of the arts and pleased to present the Brand Signature Series with the Aurora Theatre," said BrandBank Senior Vice President Margaret E. Whieldon. "The high quality plays, directing, acting and production are a valuable cultural addition to Gwinnett County."
To kick off the new season, the Lawrenceville theater is presenting the Broadway musical "Les Miserables," which opens July 25 -- and the venue is thrilled to have new sponsors to join in the fun.
"Brand represents the same kind of deep family connection and community tradition that makes Gwinnett great," Aurora's Artistic Director Anthony Rodriguez. "That is the same foundation on which Aurora Theatre is built. Brand's commitment as title sponsors goes beyond simply supporting the arts. Brand's presence unequivocally makes the case that the arts are important to maintaining a dynamic, prosperous community."
Other shows to hit the stage this season include Joseph Zettelmaier's "All Childish Things" (Oct. 3-27), "Christmas Canteen (Nov. 29-Dec. 22), Eric Simonson's "Lombardi" (Jan. 16-Feb. 9), the musical "The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown" (March 13-April 13) and Marc Camoletti's "Don't Dress for Dinner" (May 1-25).
