Job-seekers: Thursday is the last time Atlanta Regional Workforce Board's Mobile Career Lab will stop at two Gwinnett County Public Library branches.
As part of the GCPL's new JobSmart program, the mobile bus will park outside of the Centerville branch from 9:30 a.m. to noon, then at the Lawrenceville branch from 1:30 to 4 p.m.
The mobile jobs center offers the public 13 computer stations and three job coaches to give advice to job-seekers.
Attendees have access to computer workstations, photocopying and printing, resume and interview skills assistance, resource materials for job searching and career guidance, and Workforce Investment Act training opportunities.
All of the stations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Snellville branch is located at 3025 Bethany Church Road. Lawrenceville's branch is at 1001 Lawrenceville Highway.
JobSmart program is a customer service initiative focusing on career development services, resources and programs for job-seekers and entrepreneurs in the library setting.
More stops are to be scheduled through December. A new schedule and location information will be announced soon at the GCPL's website.
