LILBURN -- The city of Lilburn's Sparkle in the Park can help you and your family celebrate the Fourth of July -- just add lawn chairs and blankets.
The night will be filled with concession stands, fireworks and live music.
Taking the stage is A1A, which is recognized as the official and original Jimmy Buffet tribute band. The group will perform a family-friendly concert at Lilburn City Park. The venue is expected to hold up to 10,000 people.
"We had a really good turnout last year," said Nikki Perry, public relations manager. "We expect even more this year."
Perry said that it seems like a lot of cities are celebrating on the third of July -- now more people will come to the fourth celebration.
The city will provide air-conditioned shuttles for visitors, plus children's activities. Sparkle in the Park is from 4 to 10 p.m. July 4 at 76 Main St. in Lilburn. For more information, visit www.cityoflilburn.com.
