DULUTH -- Through Aug. 9, Georgia United Credit Union and Star 94 Radio have teaming up for its second annual school supply drive.
The public is encouraged to drop off new school supplies or cash donations at either of the two offices located in Gwinnett or any of the other 14 locations in Georgia.
In the county, Georgia United is collecting food at its corporate office at 6705 Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth and at its Gwinnett office at 2270 Satellite Blvd. in Duluth.
Some of the supplies needed include:
-- Pencils, crayons, dry erase markers
-- Hand sanitizer and soap
-- Glue sticks
-- Three-ring binders
This year's beneficiary is Atlanta Falcon Sean Weatherspoon's nonprofit Spoonful of Hope, who will coordinate delivery of supplies to local Title 1 schools.
