Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival returns to the Fox

ATLANTA -- For another year, the Fabulous Fox Theatre plays host to the Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival on the venue's big screen. "Raiders of the Lost Ark" kicks off the series on Friday.

Before each screening, attendees have a chance to participate in a sing-a-long with Mighty Mo organ and watch a vintage cartoon.

Ticket prices range from $5 to $10 and can purchased at the Fox Theatre Ticket Office, www.foxatltix.com or 855-ATL-TIXX. For more information, visit www.foxtheatre.org.

The 2013 line-up:

-- Friday: "Raiders of the Lost Ark"

-- Saturday: Morning cartoons, "Oz the Great and Powerful"

-- June 21: "42"

-- June 22: "Finding Nemo," "Les Miserables"

-- June 23: "The Birds"

-- July 26: "Django Unchained"

-- July 27: "The Croods"

-- July 28: "Lawrence of Arabia"

-- Aug. 17: Morning cartoons

-- Aug. 18: "Breakfast at Tiffany's"

The movies scheduled for Aug. 16, 17 and 29 are to be announced.

Coke can lay off hundreds of workers in the past 6 months and closed many departments. However, they seem to find the money to waste on sponsoring such projects as this.

Seems to me if their stockholders are on-board with things like this, there shouldn't be any issues. Remember, you aren't talking about wasted county tax dollars here Kelvin...haha
