SUGAR HILL -- The World Changers are coming back to Sugar Hill.
The World Changers, a Southern Baptist youth mission, will return to the city of Sugar Hill for the fourth straight year this summer, helping to rebuild and repair the homes of residents in need of assistance. House painting, handicap ramps and other exterior work will be among those services offered, officials said.
Those interested in receiving work can pick up applications at Sugar Hill City Hall or online at cityofsugarhill.com. For more information, contact Kaipo Awana at 770-945-6716 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Started in 1990 in Briceville, Tenn., World Changers now routinely has more than 20,000 participants. The group's inaugural visit to Sugar Hill in 2010 was the first anywhere in Gwinnett County.
