SAVANNAH -- Food Network star and Souther chef Paula Deen is launching a new food line, y'all.
According to the Savannah Morning News, The first round of products include tortilla chips made with fresh vegetables and flavored compound butters that incorporate into meals. She will offer garden herb, lemon dill and sweet citrus zest butters, just to name a few.
Deen will later launch a line of sugar-free and premium chocolates.
A portion of the proceeds from the sales of these products will be donated to Deen's nonprofit, The Bag Lady Foundation, which has a mission of serving women and families in need.
"It is such an honor to be able to not only let the everyday cooks bring special fresh meals, quality ingredients and great-tasting snacks to their tables to share with their friends and families, but it is an overwhelming joy to able to give back to communities across the country through The Bag Lady Foundation," Deen said.
