SNELLVILLE Mabel Pugh Mrs. Mabel G. Pugh died June 3, 2013. Mrs. Pugh was a devoted, loving, and supportive mother who loved nature and traveling. Her life was full of joy and adventure and her love of all creatures, great and small, blessed her life. A fighter to the end, Mrs. Pugh was brave and always stood up for what was right. She was given the gift of creativity, which she expressed through her artistic talents. Her strength came from her beloved family and friends and she will be greatly missed. Mrs. Pugh looked forward with great anticipation of being with loved ones that preceded her in death, including her husband, Melvin Pugh, her parents and other relatives. She is survived by her son Tony Pugh, Snellville, son and daughter-in-law Chuck and Cathy Pugh, Snellville, her sister Alice Peteet, Covington, her brother John Gorman, Cumming, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. A Funeral Services Honoring the Life of Mabel G. Pugh will be held Wednesday, June 5 at 1:00pm at Snellville United Methodist Church with Rev. Jay Suender officiating. Interment will be held at Resthaven Cemetery, Monroe, GA. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00pm until 7:00pm, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Mabels name to the Boston Terrier Rescue, 3405 Sheree Trail, c/o Ron and Ann Baker, Stone Mountain, GA 30087.
