SUGAR HILL — In August, Sugar Hill-based MTI Baths is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Started as a small family business in 1988, the company now has 144 employees and revenue exceeding $20 million. The employee-owned company has gained national recognition for its innovation, award-winning designs and customer care, according to a release.
At MTI Bath’s celebration on Tuesday, the company is unveiling a freestanding bathtub with silver inlays called the Intarcia. It will be auctioned off on eBay Monday through Aug. 12 as part of a week-long celebration of the company’s silver anniversary.
All proceeds from the online auction are donated directly to the environmental nonprofit Chattahoochee River Keeper, which is solely dedicated to protecting and preserving the Chattahoochee River, its lakes and tributaries for the people, fish and wildlife that depend on them.
MTI Bath is located at 670 North Price Road in Sugar Hill.
