SNELLVILLE -- On Tuesday, the city of Snellville will host its Snellville Entrepreneur Summit, a quarterly event held to offer resources to business owners.
The free event begins at 6:30 p.m. at Snellville City Hall after a half hour of networking.
This session's keynote speaker is Jonathan Wofford, an Internet marketer and owner of Freskos Media, who plans to discuss the importance of using social media in the current marketplace.
"Basically, I'll try to cram 12 hours of useful information into a one-hour speech," Wofford said. "Social media is a wonderful place to go after your niche and reach your clients on their level."
The quarterly summits are just one of many resources the city's office of economic development offers with the Snellville Entrepreneur Council.
"We've asked attendees to complete performance evaluations, and 100 percent said the Summit was so helpful they plan to attend future summits," said Eric Van Otteren, the city's economic development manager. "A large percentage said they walked away with something they would implement in their business the next day."
