Editor's note: This is the first of a weekly video segment, 'Behind the Scenes,' where we show you things you normally wouldn't see at a local establishment. Go to our website every Monday for a new video.

In this week's 'Behind the Scenes' segment, we give you an inside look at how a newspaper is made at the Gwinnett Daily Post in Lawrenceville. Also printed at this facility are our sister papers The Clayton News-Daily, Henry Daily Herald, Jackson Progress-Argus, Newton Citizen and Rockdale Citizen.

Each of the two presses are operated by up to four people. One press can print 40,000 papers per hour and the other prints 31,000 an hour. In the month of June the two presses combined to print over five million copies -- typically using 275-300 tons of paper in a given month.
