Clark undefeated in summer league

NEWARK, Ohio -- Duluth grad and current Georgia College and State University pitcher John Clark is enjoying a strong season so far in the Great Lakes Summer College League.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound left-hander has gone 3-0 for the Licking County Settlers by posting a 3.07 ERA with 13 strikeouts over 26 innings in seven appearances.

Clark currently leads the GLSCL in wins and is third in the league in innings pitched to help the Settlers to a 13-8 record so far, good for third place in the standings.

Clark is coming off a sophomore season in which he went 6-1 with a 4.94 ERA and 54 strikeouts over 71 innings as the Bobcats (36-19) advanced to the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Tournament.
