American Cancer Society looking for drivers

LAWRENCEVILLE -- The American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program is looking for volunteer drivers and coordinators to provide free transportation to take cancer patients to treatments.

This summer, in honor of the Society's 100th birthday, officials are recruiting 100 new volunteers in 100 days. Drivers and coordinators are needed in the following counties: Banks, Barrow, Bartow, Bryan, Chatham, Cherokee, Clarke, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, Dawson, DeKalb, Douglas, Effingham, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Habersham, Hall, Henry, Jackson, Liberty, Lumpkin, Madison, Oglethorpe, Oconee, Paulding, Rockdale and Walton.
