Mountain View seniors Taylor Whitsel and Taylor Miller have signed letters of intent with college fastpitch softball programs.
Whitsel, a four-year letter winner and utility player, signed with Tennessee Tech. A two-time Scholar-Athlete Award winner, she maintains a 3.5 GPA and also earned the Community Service Letter Award.
Miller, also a four-year letter winner and four-time all-county selection, signed with Mercer. The center fielder holds school records for batting average and most stolen bases. She hit .443 with 16 RBIs and 26 stolen bases as a senior. She also maintains a 3.5 GPA and has earned the Scholar-Athlete Award for four years.
