NORCROSS -- Wesleyan senior Sam Carver recently gave a verbal commitment to play college baseball at Rhodes College in Memphis beginning in the fall.
The infielder was limited to just 26 at bats in 16 games as a junior last season, but drove in three runs and scored four more in those opportunities.
Carver is the son of Chuck and Pam Carver.
