LAWRENCEVILLE -- A rehab and skilled nursing center in Lawrenceville recently earned a Gold rehab standard by its parent company.
Life Care Center of Gwinnett was recognized after an 111-point quality audit, according to a news release. Each Life Care facility in the company of Life Care Centers of America undergoes an annual audit of its rehab program, and how each team works with other departments. Auditors score in areas of environment, human resources, clinical programming an systems management.
Facilities that are recognized with this award have a strong, stable therapy team, the release said, that is eligible to develop a speciality program based on community needs.
"This achievement means a great deal to our facility," said Pam Wilson, executive director at Life Care Center of Gwinnett. "It shows that we are serving the people in our community with excellent rehab services. It is our goal for each of our patients to reach their highest functional status to be able to return back to their homes."
Life Care Center of Gwinnett, located at 3850 Safehaven Drive, is one of three rehab and skilled nursing centers in Georgia operated or managed by Life Care Centers of America.
