William Andrew (Bill) Franklin, age 89 of Duluth, died January 21, 2013. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday January 24, 2013 at Bill Head Funeral Home Duluth Chapel. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth.Mr. Franklin was born in Duluth, GA and was a salesman with Life of Georgia. He was a Army veteran of World War II and a member of Duluth First Baptist Church. He is survived by his sons, Dan Franklin of Lawrenceville and Terry Franklin of Duluth, grandchildren Sean Franklin, Beth Dyal and Andrea Franklin, great grandchildren, Taylor, Evan, Nick, Jacqueline and Ivy, brother Newton Franklin of Lawrenceville. He was preceded in death by his wife Eva Haney Franklin. The family will receive friends Wednesday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory Duluth Chapel 770-476-2535.
