NORCROSS -- A Wednesday afternoon fire at a Norcross law firm caused moderate smoke and water damage.
Gwinnett firefighters were dispatched to the law firm of Deming, Parker, Hoffman, Green, Campbell and Daly at just after 3 p.m., and the incident was under control within an hour, Gwinnett Fire Lt. Colin Rhoden said. The fire was believed to have been caused by an HVAC system that was being worked on at the building located at 4851 Jimmy Carter Blvd.
No injuries were reported, Rhoden said, and the building had been evacuated by the time firefighters arrived, Rhoden said.
