John and Eleanor Burris of Duluth announce the engagement of their daughter, Christine Nicole Burris of Orlando, Fla., to Matthew Scott Fennimore, of Orlando, son of Scott Fennimore of Jamaica, N.Y., and Pamela Fennimore of Marietta.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Eugene Schleidt of Lawrenceville and Elizabeth Schleidt of Manchester, N.J. She is a 2005 graduate of Duluth High School, a 2009 graduate of Kennesaw State University and is employed with Canoe Creek Charter Academy in St. Cloud, Fla., as a first-grade teacher.
The future groom is the grandson of Don and Anita Rogers of Dacula and John and Mary Lou Fennimore of Blue Ridge. He is a 2001 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and is employed with Fishbones as a server.
The wedding is planned for spring 2014 in Atlanta.
