Mill Creek senior Matt Tippins has accepted a running scholarship from Georgia College and State University. He is the son of Terry Tippins and Samantha Nolen.
Tippins helped Mill Creek's cross country team to its first Class AAAAAA state championship and first Gwinnett County championship this past season, as well as the Hawks' second straight region title. An all-county and all-region selection, he has the fourth-fastest individual time in school history and is part of the fastest team in school history.
