Providence Christian senior Luke Henderson has made a commitment to the Southern Union State Community College (Ala.) baseball program. He is the son of Curtis and Terry Henderson.
Henderson was Providence's Game 1 starter for the majority of the playoffs as his team won the Class A state championship. The left-hander earned All-Region 5-A honors as a junior, when he went 6-4 with 53 strikeouts (to 13 walks) in 63 innings. He had a 3.67 ERA.
