ATLANTA — Gwinnett's two representatives in the NFL's Punt, Pass and Kick Nationals each finished third over the weekend in the Georgia Dome.
Omar Zachery, a 7-year-old from Lawrenceville, was third in the boys 6- and 7-year-old division Saturday with a total distance of 169.90 feet. In the boys 12-13 division, Buford resident Andrew Johns was third at 266.90 feet. They were part of 40 national qualifiers for the competition.
The competition was held Saturday, but the two youngsters also were part of Sunday's NFL Punt, Pass and Kick halftime show during the Falcons-Seahawks playoff game.
