Mr. and Mrs. John W. Franks of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Franks of Athens, to Andrew Jared Herron of Huntsville, Ala., son of Dr. and Mrs. Frank Herron of Jacobus, Pa.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Franks of Hoschton, and Eula S. Young of Cairo. She is a graduate of Collins Hill High School and is pursuing a degree in middle grades education and English at the University of Georgia.
The future groom is a graduate of Dallastown Area High School and is employed with NASA as an aerospace engineer.
The wedding is planned for May 18 in Madison.
