LAWRENCEVILLE -- The passengers in a car that smashed into the garage of a Lawrenceville home Wednesday morning fled the scene and were not caught, police said.
Gwinnett County police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said the incident on Arendel Drive -- a residential area near Cruse Road and Club Drive -- was reported at about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday. A black Honda slammed into the garage door of the home, crashing through a side wall and sending boxes stored in the garage into the yard.
"The occupants of the vehicle fled on foot after the crash," Smith said.
Smith said reports that the suspects were four teenagers were unconfirmed Wednesday afternoon.
Officers searched the nearby area but attempts to find the suspects were unfruitful. Smith said authorities are "working leads on suspects."
None of the passengers in the car are believed to live at the damaged residence. No further details were released.

Four idiots running around and no one saying a word. Wonderful place to live. Doesn't anyone there own hand guns (legally)?

I'm confused. Are you saying the proper response to someone crashing a car into your house is to shoot them?

How hard can it be to find out who did it? Good grief.
