ATLANTA -- Northside Hospital and The Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons are hosting the 29th annual "Breast Surgery Symposium" this weekend at Buckhead's Intercontinental Hotel.
The event, which runs from Friday through Sunday, is attended by plastic surgeons from more than 15 countries. The co-chairs of the event, Atlanta Drs. James Namnoum, Albert Losken and L. Franklyn Elliott will present global advances in plastic surgery of the breast in the scientific program called, "Balance Without Bias."
The event will feature live demonstrations of the most advanced surgical techniques transmitted from Northside Hospital, including a live surgery that will feature breast reduction and breast augmentation with the newest implants recently approved by the FDA for use in the U.S.
